Grades 1st-5th
Religious Education combines the teaching of our Faith with age appropriate activities and fun. Elementary Religious education classes are offered for children in first through fifth grade. Preparation for First Communion is part of our Religious Education Program. If your child has received the Sacrament of First Communion, consider enrolling them in our program to further their instruction in our Faith.
All classes are held at Christ the King Hall. Our program is run with catechists (teachers) who nurture, teach, and grow the students’ love of Christ. Please consider registering your child for our program. Whether they are preparing for First Communion or they have already received the Sacrament, there is a class for them!

The Pope Saint John Paul II Catholic Middle School Youth Ministry Program provides a safe and fun place for youth to find solid Catholic community, to get answers to their questions about faith, and, most importantly, to experience Jesus in a profound and personal way.

First Holy Communion & First Reconciliation(Confession)
Grades 2nd-8th
First Holy Communion and First Reconciliation Preparation is offered for children age 7 years or older and at least in the 2nd grade.
Preparation classes meet on the 3rd Sunday of the month, from 11:00AM - 12:30PM in Christ the King Hall.
Content will be specific to the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion.
Children preparing for the Sacraments of First Holy Communion and Reconciliation are expected to attend all scheduled Sacramental Preparation classes and all scheduled Religious Education or Junior High Youth Groups throughout the preparation year.

Children in grades 2nd-5th grade seeking the Sacrament of First Holy Communion must also attend Religious Education.
Teens in grades 6th-8th grade seeking the Sacrament of First Holy Communion must also attend Junior High Youth Group.
Copies of Baptism Certificates are due before October 31.
First Holy Communion Preparation Fee of $45 can be paid at the parish office (exact cash or check), Venmo or though Online Giving.
The date of First Holy Communion Mass is determined by Fr. Flores… a date will be announced.
Registration for First Holy Communion Preparation will end September 20.

Confirmation
Grades 9th – 12th
Confirmation Preparation will be for teens age 14 years and older and at least in the 9th grade.
Classes meet on the 3rd Sunday of the month, starting from 5:00-6:30PM in
Christ the King Hall.  Content will be specific to the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Individuals preparing for the Sacraments of Confirmation are expected to attend all scheduled Sacramental Preparation classes and all High School Youth Groups scheduled throughout the preparation year.
